#1. "If Uncle Haesul said so, it's real."
'Haesul' who receives infinite trust from the people of Hopohang

The first best line carries the infinite trust of Hopohang residents toward Haesul (played by Lim Hyun-sik). Bum-seok, heading to a rural road and the location of a dead ox, is bewildered by the gruesome sight. Seong-ki's group (played by Jo In-sung) claim it was the work of a tiger that came down to the village and emphasize their point with "If Uncle Haesul said so, it's real." This best line, which triggers laughter in a serious situation, is leading the meme trend.
#2. "I'll show you what happens when you touch an Earthling."
'Seong-ki's survival instinct even in the face of overwhelming presence

The second best line showcases Seong-ki's strong determination in crisis. Seong-ki, who went into the forest to find traces of the creature that attacked the village, becomes the prey of the aliens. Cornered at the edge of a cliff by the power of the alien Mabeyo, Seong-ki delivers the line "I'll show you what happens when you touch an Earthling." Seong-ki's unbreakable conviction and survival instinct heighten the tension.

During the chase, Nak-yeon (played by Lee Sang-hee) witnesses Seong-ki riding the horse skillfully and says "Why does he ride horses so well?" representing the audience's thoughts and triggering laughter.
#4. "It's at our house, you know"
'Yang-bae's single word that changes the mood of the play in an instant

The fourth best line opens the door to an unpredictable development. Returning to the outpost after the commotion, village carpenter Yang-bae (played by Eum Moon-seok) delivers a meaningful story to Bum-seok. When Yang-bae's claim that he witnessed and directly caught an alien is dismissed as far-fetched, Yang-bae reverses the mood by saying "It's at our house, you know."
'HOPE' is the story that begins when Bum-seok, the head of the Hopohang outpost located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears from neighborhood youths that a tiger has appeared, and as the entire village goes on alert, encounters an unbelievable reality. The film is currently showing in theaters nationwide to great acclaim.
