The Fireworks Fighters are making their second visit to Busan this season to face Busan High School's baseball team.
The matchup scheduled for Saturday, the 8th at 6 p.m. at Sajik Baseball Stadium will be the 12th direct visit game. Busan High School, which boasts six-time championships in the President's Cup National High School Baseball Tournament, has been maintaining strong momentum after winning both halves of the 2026 Weekend League Gyeongnam-Gyeongbuk Division C and achieving an undefeated record in the second half since its establishment in 1947, producing 134 professional players and major tournament championships.
The game draws heightened anticipation over whether elite prospect Ha Hyun-seung, likely to be the first overall pick in the 2027 KBO New Draft, will appear. Ha Hyun-seung, equipped with a fastball reaching 152 km/h and outstanding hitting ability, has declared his intention to remain in the KBO after declining an offer from MLB's Yankees. A reunion with Jung Hoon, who previously recorded a hit against Ha Hyun-seung through YouTube content, adds further interest.
Performances by Jung Geun-woo and Jung Ui-yoon, both Busan High School alumni, against their former school's junior teammates will also be a point of interest. Additionally, Park Yong-taek, who led a 4-3 victory against the Lotte Giants Futures team in the last game and showed strong form at Sajik, will add firepower to the lineup.
