Following LA and New York premieres held ahead of the North American release in September, favorable reviews from local critics continue to pour in. After its screening at the Cannes Film Festival, a re-edited version with meticulously refined creature scenes, sound, and editing was released, enhancing narrative continuity and pacing and earning praise as one of the finest action films in recent times.

'Hope' depicts the events that unfold after Beom-seok, the head of the Hopohang outpost in the Demilitarized Zone, hears news of a tiger's appearance, and is currently playing to great acclaim in domestic theaters.
