KBS 2TV's Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' has reached its midpoint and addressed key plot points.
Ahead of episode 7 airing at 9:20 PM on the 25th, KBS 2TV's Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' (directed by Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Min-tae, written by Jung Jae-ha, produced by Red Nine Pictures and KBS Media) achieved a minute's highest viewership rating of 8.8% and nationwide viewership of 6.7% in its last episode, ranking first in its time slot.
In the previous broadcast, Nam Goong-min, playing Kang Tae-joo, rescued his wife Go Se-yoon, played by Lee Seol, from Noh Man-hee, played by Kim Dae-myung, and Kim Gyeong-ae, played by Lee Sang-hee, but heightened tension with a cliffhanger ending where he was attacked in return. In episode 7, which opens the second act, attention focuses on why tragedy began for the couple who were once happy, and what is the real reason the villain couple persistently targets them.
The suspicious actions of surrounding characters add to the mystery. Go Dong-chan, the hospital director and father-in-law played by Jang Gwang, opposes Kang Tae-joo while showing anxiety at news of patient information being accessed, arousing curiosity about secrets. The crossing glances between Cha Myung-hee, a junior doctor played by Jo Yoon-seo, and Kang Tae-joo also raise questions about the history between the two.
The production team stated that piecing together the clues scattered throughout is the charm of the second act, and that completely unexpected plot twists and hidden narratives will explode. Episode 7 of 'The Completion of Marriage' airs on Saturday the 25th at 9:20 PM.
