Ji-sung from JTBC weekend drama 'Apartment' takes on the role of a 'heating justice warrior' exposing corruption within the apartment complex.
JTBC weekend drama 'Apartment' (written by Kim Yun-young, directed by Cho Yong-won, produced by SLL·Red Nine Pictures), airing on the 25th and 26th, recorded a highest viewership of 7.1%, maintaining the top position among all non-terrestrial programs on weekends. Cast members Ha Yun-kyung and Ji-sung have secured spots among the top trending keywords, proving the high level of interest.
In the previous broadcast, Ji-sung, playing Park Hae-gang, was elected as chairman of the residents' representative council after resolving various issues within the apartment complex. In episodes 5 and 6, Park Hae-gang discovers evidence that some households in the apartment complex have been receiving heating fee exemptions and will dramatically expose the corruption to residents, leading to major changes.
On set, Ji-sung reportedly heated up the atmosphere in the plaza with overwhelming acting prowess while holding a massive flag and megaphone. It remains to be seen whether Park Hae-gang can establish authority within the apartment complex through the heating fee corruption exposure and achieve a balance between fraud prevention and justice.
The production team stated that Ji-sung completed the heating justice warrior character three-dimensionally with meticulous acting details, and asked viewers to look forward to his intense refreshing moves that will shake up the apartment. JTBC weekend drama 'Apartment' episode 5 airs on Saturday the 25th at 10:40 PM, and episode 6 airs on Sunday the 26th at 10:30 PM.
