The 14th Busan International Comedy Festival (hereinafter referred to as Bucope) will showcase performances by overseas teams that transcend language barriers.

Bucope, which runs from August 21st to 30th, is garnering attention with the participation of 52 overseas teams from 9 countries. Patrick Cottet Moine, a visual comedian from France, will present "Mime de Lyon," a mime performance featuring sophisticated gestures and imagination-stimulating artistry.

World-class magicians are also joining forces with "Double." FISM World Magic Champion Norbert Ferré, European Magic Champion Charlie Mage, and domestic comedy magician Kim Min-hyung will combine magic and comedy on stage.

Japan's "Japan Nonverbal Live G-Team," featuring Moriyasu Bangbangbiga, Mr. Oguchi, and Kinoshita Jaku, will create performances that anyone can enjoy through non-verbal performances including juggling, magic, and balance art.

Bucope has been the first international comedy festival in Asia and has contributed to the spread of comedy culture. Since 2024, it has been promoting talent development projects in cooperation with regional universities, and plans to establish a dedicated theater and build a production and distribution environment to enhance the competitiveness of the K-comedy industry and leap forward as an Asian comedy hub.

The 14th Bucope will run for ten days starting August 21st, and tickets can be reserved at NOL Interpark.
