Actors Kim Myung-soo and Kang Min-ah locked lips once again to resolve an emotional transfer malfunction.
In the 5th episode of the Saturday-Sunday drama 'Empathy Cells' (written by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae / directed by Kim Chil-bong / provided by A E Global Media / produced by Weemade, LG U , and MBC C&I) that aired on the 18th, Cha Eun-hwan (played by Kim Myung-soo) was shown working hard to revive Ji-an Yu (played by Kang Min-ah), who was struggling after dropping out of a drama.
Cha Eun-hwan secretly signed a manager contract with Ji-an Yu without his sister Cha Song-hwan (played by Cha Min-ji) knowing and helped her get cast. In the process, Ji-an Yu transferred Cha Eun-hwan's deep guilt over his sister who lost her leg and his father who lost his life, shedding tears. Making eye contact and feeling the pounding of his heart, she kissed him.
However, the next day at the filming location, a reversal of roles in emotional transfer occurred, creating a crisis. To make matters worse, Ji-an Yu felt burdened by public opinion pointing out her comeback and declared her withdrawal from the series, disappearing. To resolve this, Cha Eun-hwan tracked down Shin Mi-jeong (played by Park Chae-won) by finding contradictions in a video exposing abuse of power, and visited director Moon Kyung-sik (played by Cho Hyun-jae) to win an audition opportunity for a supporting role in a film starring Han Lee-jin (played by Kwon So-hyun), convincing Ji-an Yu. Afterwards, the two realized that kissing was their only common point to resolve the reversal, and as Ji-an Yu kissed once more, it brought excitement to viewers.
The 6th episode of Lifetime's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Empathy Cells' airs tonight at 10:50 PM on the 19th, and will be released on U tv mobile and Disney on Monday the 20th at 00:00.
