KBS 2TV Sunday miniseries "The Completion of Marriage" captured Nam Goong-min's shocking detention center scene.
In episode 7 of KBS 2TV Sunday miniseries "The Completion of Marriage" (directed by Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Min-tae, written by Jung Jae-ha, produced by Red Nine Pictures and KBS Media) airing on the 25th, Nam Goong-min as Kang Tae-joo is taken into custody as a kidnapping suspect right after surgery. The previous episode 6 recorded the highest viewership rating of 8.8% in Bundang and 6.7% nationwide, maintaining first place in the time slot.
Previously, Kang Tae-joo found the house of kidnapper Noh Man-hee played by Kim Dae-myung and rescued his wife Goh Se-yoon played by Lee Seul, but heightened curiosity with an ending where he was counter-attacked by Noh Man-hee while fleeing.
In episode 7, Kang Tae-joo is handcuffed by police immediately after surgery, and Goh Se-yoon silently watches her husband being taken away. As Kang Tae-joo sends a meaningful glance through the detention cell bars, interest is focused on the circumstances that led the man who successfully rescued his wife to be locked up as a kidnapping suspect.
On set, Nam Goong-min heightened concentration by delivering Kang Tae-joo's complex emotions with restrained acting.
The production team stated, "Episode 7 is significant in that it activates an enormous plot twist through the full-fledged second act," and added, "Please check the twist narrative that defies predictions as to which direction the closely woven foreshadowing will unfold."
