KBS Drama 'Yes, Let's Divorce' (directed by Joo Sung-woo, written by Hwang Ji-eon, produced by Canvas N), scheduled to premiere on August 19 at 11 p.m., depicts the real divorce experience of a married couple who are the representatives of a wedding dress shop, seeking to put an end to their exhausted marriage life. Director Joo Sung-woo, who directed 'The Man Who Cooks Rice', 'Monster', and 'The Legend of the Witch', and writer Hwang Ji-eon have joined forces and are drawing attention.
Lee Min-jung takes on the role of Baek Mi-young, the representative of G&White. After losing her parents in an unexpected accident and devoting herself to work, she married Ji-won-ho (played by Kim Ji-seok), but now in their seventh year, she declares divorce due to stress from both company and home. With her high character understanding skills, she is expected to depict a realistic married life.
Kim Ji-seok plays Ji-won-ho, co-representative of G&White and wedding dress designer. He fell for Baek Mi-young at first sight and proposed to her, but after a marriage different from his ideals, he receives divorce notification. With his wide acting spectrum, Kim Ji-seok is expected to embody a three-dimensional character.
Lee Hyun-jin takes on the role of Calvin, Baek Mi-young's first love and ex-boyfriend, and shows off his charm as a hotel CEO that shakes up the couple. Lee Jin-i plays An Hee-joo, an MZ photographer, portraying an honest character whose heart wavers for Ji-won-ho.
Oh Yeon-a plays lawyer Jeon Chi-hyun, who takes on Baek Mi-young's divorce lawsuit, and Jeong Ui-je plays Kang Kyung-tae, Ji-won-ho's close junior. Wang Bit-na transforms into Song A-ri, the manager of G&White and Baek Mi-young's classmate, adding fun to the drama.
The production team cited the realistic couple chemistry that Lee Min-Jung and Kim Ji-seok will show, the process of them understanding each other again, and the actors' delicate acting chemistry as key viewing points.
