



Actor Kim Seok-hun has been selected as the promotional ambassador for the 5th One Earth Film Festival, which addresses climate crisis.
Kim Seok-hun has continued to maintain his approachable image by sharing his commitment to resource circulation and environmental protection in everyday life through his YouTube channel "My Garbage Mister." He is receiving public affection by conveying environmental messages that anyone can practice, such as reducing single-use items and proper waste separation, with authenticity.
Jang Je-kuk, the organizing committee chairman of the One Earth Film Festival, explained that Kim Seok-hun's environmental philosophy that even discarded waste contributes to creating the future aligns with the festival's direction, leading to his selection as promotional ambassador.
Kim Seok-hun expressed his honor to participate as a promotional ambassador and said he will make efforts to widely communicate the value of the film festival by connecting climate crisis solutions to practical actions in daily life.
Kim Seok-hun debuted with the SBS drama "Hong Gildong" in 1998 and has shown versatile acting across dramas, films, theater, and musicals. Additionally, based on his distinctive voice, he has demonstrated excellence in hosting educational programs and narration.

Meanwhile, the 5th One Earth Film Festival will be held for 5 days from September 3rd to 7th at Busan Cinema Center. The festival will introduce works dealing with climate crisis, ecological environment, and coexistence of life, and present conferences, exhibitions, and experiential programs.
