'The Drama' has released a teaser trailer.
'The Drama' (Director Christopher Bogle, Production A24, Square Peg, Distribution TEO, sunlovetour, Co-distribution Waterhole Company Inc.) unveiled a teaser trailer ahead of its domestic release in September. The film tells the story of a happy couple on the eve of their wedding confessing their hidden past, turning what should be a perfect wedding week into unpredictable chaos.
This highly anticipated A24 film of 2026 draws attention with the joint casting of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, who previously worked together in 'Odyssey' and 'Dune: Part Three'. Following its release in North America first, it achieved a record of surpassing 2 billion won at the global box office. Adding to this is A24's brand value and producer Ari Aster's involvement from 'Hereditary' and 'Midsommar', boasting a polished quality that bridges romantic comedy and psychological thriller. For its domestic release, it becomes the first film distribution work presented by TEO, the company of PD Kim Tae-ho, and has garnered attention with fashion brand Sunlovetour participating as a co-distributor with Waterhole Company.
The released teaser trailer opens with Emma (Zendaya) and Charlie (Robert Pattinson), one week before their wedding, in an affectionate scene during a wedding photo shoot rehearsal. Sweet scenes of them dancing and joking while responding to the photographer's requests heighten the loving atmosphere.
However, once the actual photo shoot begins, the affection disappears, and awkward laughter and uneasy atmosphere pervade, piquing curiosity about the hidden history between them. Subsequently, images of an angry Emma in her wedding dress on the wedding day cross with scenes of a bloodied Charlie, hinting at a plot twist.
