In episode 1 of MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Housewife Killer' (planned by Kwon Sung-chang/written by Kim Eun-hee/directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Ji-hoon/produced by Bon Factory, Baramfilms, Studio Fim), the precarious double life of Yoo Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin), who leads the life of an ordinary housewife and the legendary sniper King Fisher, was unveiled. The first broadcast opened with a scene from 15 years ago where Oh Man-seok (played by Kim Won-hae), who was released from prison, attempts to strangle his daughter Oh Seung-ah (played by Do Young-seo), and Yoo Bo-na shoots him with a sniper rifle from the opposite rooftop. Seung-ah, who rushes to the scene, spots a message saying "Merry Christmas" left in the snow and sheds tears, leaving a strong impact.
Fifteen years later, the present day shows Yoo Bo-na living an ordinary life with her husband Kwon Tae-sung and daughter Kwon Yul (played by Hwang Bom). While endlessly affectionate in front of her family, she catches a falling cup with one hand and precisely subdues a sexual harasser with groceries, revealing her extraordinary side. Meanwhile, journalist Kwon Tae-sung receives a tip about drugs and witnesses a dropper vehicle explosion accident in Musan. After persistent tracking, he discovers that the victim is not a simple dropper but a drug lord.
Yoo Bo-na returns to work as a department head at Dureumi Electronics Sales Team 3 after a three-year maternity leave. When team leader Kim Bong-pal (played by Sung Dong-il) asks her to attend a client meeting, she declares an afternoon meeting, saying she needs to pick up her child. However, she then shoots a target across the hotel from a church rooftop with a sniper rifle in a single shot, delivering a shocking twist. It is then revealed that the mysterious man at the Musan vehicle explosion accident scene is Kim Bong-pal, delivering another shock.
