The first famous line conveys the infinite trust of Hopo residents toward Haesul (played by Lim Hyun-sik). Bumseok heads to a rural road and a location with a dead ox, and is taken aback by the gruesome sight. Sunggi's (played by Cho In-sung) group insists it's the work of a tiger that came down to the village, emphasizing the point with "If Uncle Haesul said so, it's true." This famous line, which brings laughter amid a serious situation, is leading the meme craze.

'Sunggi's' survival instinct that doesn't yield even before an overwhelming presence

The second famous line shows Sunggi's strong resolve in crisis. Entering the forest to find traces of the creature that attacked the village, Sunggi becomes hunted prey. Driven to the edge of a cliff by the power of the alien Mabeyeo, Sunggi delivers the line "Let me show you what happens when I mess with an earthling." Sunggi's unbreakable determination and survival instinct heighten the tension.

Pleasant banter bursting forth amid a tense chase

The third famous line creates humor in a hair-trigger situation. After saving Bumseok's group, Sunggi lures in Mabeyeo. Sunggi rides a horse across the plains, while Bumseok and Sungae (played by Jung Ho-yeon) provide covering fire. During the chase, when Nakryeon (played by Lee Sang-hee) sees Sunggi skillfully riding the horse and says "Why is he so good at riding horses?" this line, which speaks for the audience's heart, brings laughter.
#4. "It's at our house, you see"
'Yangbae's' one word that changes the atmosphere of the play in an instant

The fourth famous line opens the door to an unpredictable development. Returning to the outpost after the commotion, village carpenter Yangbae (played by Eum Moon-seok) brings up a meaningful story to Bumseok. When Yangbae's claim that he witnessed and directly caught an alien is dismissed as far-fetched, Yangbae reverses the mood by saying "It's at our house, you see."
'Hope' tells the story that begins when Bumseok, the head of the Hopogang outpost located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears from young people in the neighborhood that a tiger has appeared, and the entire village goes on alert as Bumseok encounters an unbelievable reality. The film is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
