Actress Lee Seol demonstrated her wide range of acting abilities while never losing hope even in the midst of profound loss from losing her daughter and extreme terror.

In the recently aired KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' (directed by Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Min-tae, written by Jung Jae-ha, produced by Red Nine Pictures and KBS Media), the reasons why Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) could not help but resent her husband Kang Tae-joo (played by Namgoong Min) and her determination not to give up even in the kidnapping situation were depicted. As the hidden past was revealed, credibility was added to the narrative of the two's relationship becoming irreversibly distant following the tragic event of losing their daughter.

Go Se-yoon recalled her husband Kang Tae-joo's repeated lies and his returning home without his wedding ring, fully revealing her broken trust and deep wounds. Even in the confined reality, Go Se-yoon did not easily break down. He successfully escaped by breaking the handle with a steel ball, and showed strong inner resilience by not turning away from another victim trapped in the next room, asking them to leave together in an extreme situation, leaving a deep impression.

However, Go Se-yoon, discovered by the kidnapper Roh Man-hee (played by Kim Dae-myung) just before escape, resisted and struggled to the end but was ultimately subdued again. The chilling words from Roh Man-hee that she suffered greatly from marrying the wrong man, along with her being trapped again, evoked sympathy. Lee Seol delicately portrayed a wide range of emotions—a mother's sorrow, resentment toward her husband, and the will to survive.

'The Completion of Marriage,' which showcases Lee Seol's outstanding performance as she three-dimensionally completed the character's wounds and resilience through restrained eye expressions and desperate struggles, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m.
