The group CLOSE YOUR EYES has demonstrated its global influence by receiving focused attention from US Billboard.
CLOSE YOUR EYES earned a spot on Billboard critics' "25 Best K-pop Albums of the First Half of 2026" with the song "POSE," released in April. Billboard praised "POSE" for capturing bold yet restrained momentum based on the dynamic groove of baile funk, and noted that the diverse vocal tones of the seven members blend naturally without overcrowding, revealing a distinctive presence even in the competitive boy group market.
The group's Billboard critics' selection marks the second time since their debut track "Every Poem and Novel in Me" last year. Their debut album "Eternity" was also selected for the "25 Best K-pop Albums of 2025," establishing them as a team that continues to be recognized for musicality and completeness since their debut.
The attention in overseas markets continues across multiple fronts. Following their selection as a "Billboard K-pop Rookie" in December last year, they were selected this year as the sixth Billboard Korea artist after NewJeans, Blackpink Index, PLAVE, and ATEEZ, proving their upward trajectory.
CLOSE YOUR EYES, growing amid praise from domestic and international music fans and critics, achieved a remarkable feat of winning nine rookie awards at various domestic awards ceremonies. Securing their position with Billboard's selection for two consecutive years, the group is currently conducting a global tour, continuing to meet fans across the world.
