Singer Taemin has announced the release of a new album and a large-scale world tour, marking the start of his full-fledged activities.
On the 24th, Taemin sequentially unveiled a poster for his new album 'PHASE 1: SOFT VIOLENCE' and a teaser poster for his world tour '2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR [LiMiNaL]' through his official SNS channel, drawing attention.
Following a previously surprise-released video, various rock candy, ants, and stationery items featured in the poster have sparked diverse speculation. Taemin's new album release and comeback are scheduled for August 31st at 6 PM.
The subsequently released world tour teaser poster also captured attention with its sensual visuals peeking through the gaps. The tour title 'LiMiNaL (Liminal)' is derived from the Latin word for boundary (Limen), carrying the meaning that a boundary is not an end but the moment when a new change begins. Taemin plans to fully capture on stage his evolutionary process of establishing a unique artistic domain.
This year, Taemin became the first Korean solo male singer to take the stage at the American 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival,' showcasing an overwhelming performance, and has further proven his global status by securing a spot on the British 'BST Hyde Park' stage.
A representative from Galaxy Corporation, his agency, stated that they have confirmed a large-scale world tour to meet fans around the world alongside the new album release. Having successively conquered major festivals, Taemin is expected to reach the pinnacle of his global activities through this large-scale world tour.
