Actors Lee Hyun-gyun and Lee Won-jung join the Shinwha unit, bringing a new breeze.
In ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Newbie 4: Sabotage' (directed by Min Jin-ki and Jo Je-uk, written by Yun Ki-young and Kim Dan, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Story Island), Lee Hyun-gyun takes on the role of Byeon Hyuk-jin, and Lee Won-jung plays Kim Hyun-wook. 'Newbie 4: Sabotage' tells the story of Sergeant Park Min-seok (played by Kim Min-ho), whose rank has increased and worries have multiplied, returning to full combat readiness with the arrival of Sergeant Choi Il-gu (played by Nam Tae-u) who has returned as a sergeant, a mysterious newbie, and the battalion commander.
In the released second teaser video, Lee Hyun-gyun, who plays the elite battalion commander Byeon Hyuk-jin whose rumors have been circulating, enters the unit and creates an unusual atmosphere. The expression change of Kim Min-ho, who plays Park Min-seok, hints at the shift in the unit's mood upon the arrival of the new face.
Lee Won-jung, who plays ace newbie Kim Hyun-wook with tight military discipline, also captures attention from her entrance. As the unit members welcome the youngest member, and Kim Yo-han, who plays Kim Yo-han as the youngest soldier Mun Bit-na-ri, seizes the initiative upon the arrival of the next youngest member, laughter ensues. However, as the special ace joins, a storm that will sweep through the unit is foreshadowed, stirring interest.
Kim Min-ho anchors the center as sergeant Park Min-seok, who takes his place among the senior ranks. Here, military star Jeon Se-gye (played by Kim Dong-jun), company commander Cho Baek-ho (played by Oh Dae-hwan), and Choi Il-gu (played by Nam Tae-u), who returned as the youngest sergeant, add their strength. Lee Hyun-gyun transforms into a battalion commander who leads change and innovation, while Lee Won-jung becomes an ace newbie whose inner thoughts are unknowable, raising the laughter synergy.
The production team stated that as the two aces with different textures newly join, an emergency will befall Park Min-seok's peaceful sergeant life, and asked viewers to look forward to the increasingly dynamic barracks life with the arrival of new characters.
ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Newbie 4: Sabotage' will premiere on August 24 at 10 p.m. and will also be available on KT Genie TV and Tving.
