ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You' has delivered a pleasant and exciting premiere that truly captures the essence of romantic comedy.
'Dream to You' (directed by Yoo Sun-dong, written by Jung Eun-bi, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Contents Planner), which aired its first episode on the 13th, made viewers' hearts race with the chemistry between Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri.
In the storyline that aired through episode 2, genius film director Woo Su-bin (played by Hwang In-youp) returns to Korea to keep his promise to make a film together, and freelance reporter Ju Yi-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri), who has been living while forgetting her dreams, reunite after 15 years, raising the audience's heartbeat.
The released behind-the-scenes stills captured the refreshing synergy created by Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri perfectly. The two actors raised excitement by holding hands and gazing at each other in their hideout, and elicited smiles with playful expressions. Their appearance carefully reviewing scripts and monitoring on the filming set also caught viewers' attention. Hwang In-youp expressed Woo Su-bin himself, handling everything from charismatic professional moments to unrestrained flirting, while Lee Hye-ri delicately portrayed Yi-jae's concerns about living without her dreams, blocked by the walls of reality.
The refreshing charm of the sub-couple adds further anticipation. Baek Sung-chul and Lee Yeol-eum have perfectly transformed into their roles as Shim Yu-gun, a supporting actor who refuses to give up on his dreams despite repeated failures, and O Ha-na, a top star who has never dreamed even once. The romance of the two actors, who will portray the fresh and tender love of people in their twenties, is also drawing expectations.
Episode 3 of 'Dream to You' will air on ENA at 10 p.m. on Monday the 20th, and can also be viewed on KT Genie TV and Tving.
