Singer Wonho makes a surprise comeback today with a new album release.
Wonho will release his new album 'Core' through various online music streaming platforms at 6 PM on the 21st. This new album is a work that captures the process of peeling away the layers of protection that everyone creates to hide their wounds and finally facing one's most authentic self.
The album includes a total of 7 tracks: the title track 'Don't Wake Me Up!' along with 'Answer', 'Can't Get Enough', 'Summer Blue', 'Down', 'Test Drive', and 'Promises'. Wonho participated in writing, composing, and producing all tracks, demonstrating his deepened capabilities as both an artist and producer. The title track 'Don't Wake Me Up!' expresses the emotion of wanting to stay in a dream rather than reality through intense sound and beat, enhanced by a large-scale performance with multiple dancers.
Through a Q&A, Wonho explained, "This is an album that captures my most authentic self. Rather than music that sounds cool, I wanted to honestly incorporate my current thoughts and feelings."
He particularly expressed affection for the included track 'Summer Blue', saying, "It's even more special because I worked on it while thinking of the moment when fans call 3:01, the time of my birthday, 'Wonho Time'." He added, "I am grateful to the fans who have waited for so long, and I hope we can create good memories together this summer as well."
