Actor Nam Goong Min receives a mysterious phone call and then fights desperately while battered and bruised.
KBS 2TV's weekend miniseries "The Completion of Marriage" (directed by Kim Jeong Hyun and Kim Min Tae, written by Jung Jae Ha, produced by Red Nine Pictures and KBS Media) achieved its highest viewership rating of 7.5% in its 8th episode last broadcast, ranking 1st in the same time slot across all channels. It also topped Disney 's "Today's Top 10 Series in Korea," proving its appeal. The series is gaining popularity through the passionate performances of Nam Goong Min, Kim Dae Myung, Lee Seol, and Lee Sang Hee, as well as its plot twists.
In the previous broadcast, while Kang Tae Joo (played by Nam Goong Min) was tracking down the secrets of his father-in-law Ko Dong Chan (played by Jang Kwang) related to his wife Go Se Yoon's (played by Lee Seol) kidnapping, a shocking ending unfolded in which he witnessed the body of Ha Jung Soo (played by Jeon Kwang Jin), who was about to kill the kidnapper Kim Gyeong Ae (played by Lee Sang Hee).
In episode 9, which will air on August 1st, Kang Tae Joo receives a mysterious phone call and freezes, then is depicted sitting helplessly in a dark alley covered in wounds. Nam Goong Min fluidly shifts his expression from a guarded gaze to one of shock, creating an intense atmosphere.
The production team stated, "In episode 9, Kang Tae Joo will go through a fierce process of truly opening Pandora's box," and added, "Nam Goong Min is perfectly embodying the character fighting a desperate battle to uncover the truth with charisma and authenticity, so we hope you will look forward to the broadcast filled with repeated plot twists."
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's weekend miniseries "The Completion of Marriage," produced with support from the Broadcasting and Communications Development Fund of the Broadcasting Communications Committee, will air its 9th episode on August 1st at 9:20 PM.
