Singer Kim Jong-kook is introducing a commemorative project album to mark his 30th debut anniversary.
Kim Jong-kook appeared on tvN's entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on the 29th, and announced the release of a new album for his 30th debut anniversary. He introduced the project, mentioning that he is receiving songs from accomplished artists, and revealed that singer Roy Kim will participate in the first new song production.
This project follows a format where each sequentially released digital single expresses the musical colors of different creators through Kim Jong-kook's own voice. The plan is to eventually compile the new songs into one physical album as the final product.
Through the broadcast, he also expressed anticipation for 'Kim Jong-kook 30th Anniversary Concert - Seoul Encore,' which will be held in August. Kim Jong-kook explained the highlights of the concert, previewing a setlist centered on hit songs along with an aerobic time featuring approximately 20 minutes of Turbo medleys.
Kim Jong-kook, who sold out all seats at his 30th debut anniversary concert last year, expressed confidence in the success of this encore concert as well.
'Kim Jong-kook 30th Anniversary Concert - Seoul Encore' will be held on August 15th and 16th at Seoul Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall, where the first new song from the 30th debut anniversary project will be unveiled for the first time on stage.
