Director Christopher Nolan's new film 'Odyssey' continues to generate buzz with its box office reservations and domestic visit schedule.
'Odyssey' (Director Christopher Nolan, Distributor Universal Pictures) features director Christopher Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, and actors Matt Damon and Charlize Theron, who began their official schedule with a press conference on the 3rd. On August 4th in the afternoon, they will meet domestic fans through red carpet and stage greetings. According to the integrated box office ticketing system, as of 7:01 AM on August 4th, pre-sales reached 432,232 reservations, maintaining the top spot in overall reservation rates. Real-time reservation rates also recorded 41.0%.
Commemorative photos were also released, featuring key scenes reinterpreted as ink paintings with Korean sensibility as the background. The ink paintings are works by artist Kim So-young, a calligraphy and calligraphy artist, capturing the scene of warriors pulling the Trojan Horse to shore with the depth of ink and the beauty of negative space. Director Nolan, the production team, and the actors took commemorative photos with these ink paintings as the backdrop. Producer Emma Thomas drew attention by wearing a light blue ornament evoking Odysseus's journey.
'Odyssey,' which captures scale and visual beauty, will be released on August 5th.
