Director Na Hong-jin of "Hope," which drew 330,000 viewers on its opening day and recorded the year's best opening score, will attend San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).

At this event, it will begin with an opening introduction by global star Jung Ho-yeon, followed by a Q&A session with the director Na Hong-jin in attendance, and previously unreleased footage will be unveiled for the first time. The newly released poster captures the tense back view of the protagonist Beom-seok desperately fleeing from a mysterious creature, adding to the tension.
"Hope" is a suspense film that depicts the story of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopo Port branch office located in the demilitarized zone, who hears news from local youths that a tiger has appeared, causing the entire town to be on high alert as he faces an unbelievable reality.
Following its record of ranking first in advance ticket sales from 11 days before its release, the film continues its unstoppable box office momentum amid overwhelming praise from critics both at home and abroad. Director Lee Chang-dong, who previously participated as a guest for the special screening, praised it as "a work at the extreme of entertainment films that shows tension and speed beyond the limit," and Director Bong Joon-ho also had nothing but high praise, saying "It's a remarkable cinematic adventure with explosive passion and madness."
"Hope," which dominated the box office this summer with explosive acclaim, is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
