Cah Degarden, Dowoon of DAY6, Lee Chae-min, and Tarzan of All Day Project unite for a mountaineering variety show, embarking on a unique snowy mountain expedition.
'Why on Earth Do We Climb Mountains?' will premiere on August 18th. This mountaineering variety show follows four reluctant climbers who have never been interested in mountaineering as they challenge a snowy mountain in the dead of winter. Produced by the Na Young-seok production team, the show showcases breathtaking winter scenery amidst the summer heat and unique chemistry between the cast members.
Cah Degarden, DAY6's Dowoon, actor Lee Chae-min, and Tarzan of All Day Project form the 'Descending Mountain Club,' a hiking group whose motto is to climb mountains for the sake of descending. They rely on each other while climbing the snowy mountain, and after descending, they enjoy themselves and quickly grow closer as a team.
The cast members expressed strong satisfaction with their chemistry with each other. Cah Degarden shared that he spent enjoyable time with mild-mannered and honest members, while Dowoon described it as time when they genuinely cared for one another. Lee Chae-min and Tarzan also mentioned that they completed the mountain climbing safely and enjoyably with natural chemistry and principles.
Director Park Hyun-yong, who directed the show, explained that the key viewing point is the camaraderie of the four people that blossomed at lightning speed as they overcome challenging situations together.
