The 14th Busan International Comedy Festival (hereinafter 'BICF') announced the launch of its volunteer corps, 'Cobongs'.
The inauguration ceremony held on the 24th was attended by Executive Chairman Kim Jun-ho and 35 volunteers. The volunteers pledged to work faithfully for a safe and enjoyable festival.
Through his opening remarks, Chairman Kim Jun-ho stated that the volunteers are the main characters of the festival and urged them to lend their strength so that the 10-day festival could be successfully concluded. Following this, the volunteer corps representatives took an oath and received merchandise, followed by encouragement from Moohak's President Lee Jong-soo and a group photo session.
In the second part, detailed safety management training was conducted, including guidance on performances and events, assigned duties, and first aid.
'BICF', Asia's largest international comedy festival, is creating a sustainable comedy platform and promoting the discovery of comedy talent and content activation.
The 14th 'BICF' will be held for 10 days from August 21 to August 30. The festival kicks off with the opening performance of 'Malza Show & Gag Concert Gala Show,' followed by a diverse lineup of performances. Tickets can be reserved through NOL Interpark.
