KBS 2TV Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' has hinted at controversy with a fleeting three-way confrontation between Nam Goong Min, Lee Seul, and Jo Yun-seo.
'The Completion of Marriage' (directed by Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Min-tae, written by Jung Jae-ha, produced by Red Nine Pictures and KBS Media) set its own viewership record in the 8th episode, achieving a peak minute rating of 9.2% and a nationwide rating of 7.5%. The series is gaining positive response from viewers with its gripping narrative and the actors' immersive performances.
In the 9th episode airing on August 1st, Kang Tae-joo (Nam Goong Min) and Go Se-yoon (Lee Seul) face each other in a hospital corridor, followed by a scene where Go Se-yoon witnesses Kang Tae-joo together with Cha Myung-hee (Jo Yun-seo). Kang Tae-joo hands something to Go Se-yoon while avoiding her gaze, and Go Se-yoon expresses her frustration before leaving.
In the moment when Go Se-yoon turns back, she catches sight of Kang Tae-joo and Cha Myung-hee walking while having a serious conversation. As Go Se-yoon watches the meeting between Kang Tae-joo and Cha Myung-hee with suspicious eyes, attention is focused on how the relationship between the three will change.
The three actors delicately portrayed each of their complex emotional lines and ambiguous atmosphere, heightening the dramatic tension.
The production team stated that this scene will become a decisive moment that raises suspicions about the three's relationship and presents another turning point in the narrative.
