In the 2nd episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Housewife Killer' (Planning: Kwon Sung-chang / Screenplay: Kim Eun-hee / Direction: Yun Jong-ho, Kim Ji-hoon / Production: Bon Factory, Wind Pictures, Studio Pim), various developments unfold including mysterious threats surrounding Kingfisher and a new employee joining the sales team 3 of Durumi Electronics.
In the 1st episode that aired on July 31st, Yu Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin) unfolds her double life as both a housewife and a killer, while Kwon Tae-sung (played by Jung Jun-won) witnesses a car explosion while reporting on a new drug case. Yu Bo-na receives a warning from an unknown person, raising tension.
In the released photos, Yu Bo-na points a gun at someone, and Kwon Tae-sung is seen sleeping in a cafe. Kwon Tae-sung falls into a deep sleep at a cafe after receiving a text tip about Kingfisher. Upon learning that her husband is in danger, Yu Bo-na finds the person she suspects and confronts them face-to-face with a gun pointed at them, continuing a tense standoff.
Meanwhile, Lee Dong-jin (played by Lee Sang-yi) discovers a Baby Shark sticker at a shooting scene, obtaining a clue to reveal the identity. A new employee Oh Hyun-nam (played by Ha Yul-ri), a poison specialist, appears in Durumi Electronics' sales team 3, and reclusive expert Bong Tae-min (played by Kim Nam-hee), who had been focused on weapon development, begins to notice Oh Hyun-nam, hinting at a twist in chemistry.
The production team revealed that as the Kingfisher case escalates, unpredictable developments unfold including tip texts, stickers, and the arrival of a new employee. They added to look forward to what choice Yu Bo-na will make when she unleashes her savage killer instinct in the face of her family's crisis.
