Director Shin Jae-ho has exclusively released a rough cut of his 13th feature film 'I'm Your Man' through his YouTube channel.

Director Shin Jae-ho recently announced through his SNS that he is releasing the rough cut of the independent film 'I'm Your Man,' which was filmed in Busan last fall, to preserve a record of the passion and sincerity he poured into the project as a director, fearing that the film might never see the light of day. It is extremely rare in Korea for a film prepared for theatrical release to be fully released online at a director's discretion.
'I'm Your Man' is an independent feature film shot in Busan last year, notable for the stable performances of its cast and weighty drama. In particular, numerous actors who actively work across both commercial and independent films appear in the production. Lead actor Lee Ji-hoon, who delivered an impressive performance in the film 'Unemployed Apartment,' once again carries the narrative with delicate emotional nuance and deep acting. Alongside veteran actress Moon Hee-kyung, actors Kim Ki-bang, Choi Yun-young, Jung Ho-bin, and Bang Eun-hee round out the cast with their solid acting abilities, adding depth to the film.
Some viewers who have seen the film early have given it high praise, noting that the actors' chemistry and performances are excellent, with high immersion, and expressing regret that it did not receive a theatrical release given its level of completion.
Director Shin Jae-ho's latest move, having directed works such as 'Extraterritorial,' 'The Gate,' 'Faceless Murderers,' and 'Most Wanted' over the past 22 years, is drawing particular attention as it signifies his intention to directly share the record of his creative work with audiences. The released rough cut can be freely viewed by anyone through Director Shin Jae-ho's official YouTube channel, and details regarding special screenings and director's talks will be announced through official SNS at a later date.
