Singer Lim Chang-jung will make his appearance as a golden star on TV CHOSUN's "Golden Friday" to stage an all-time classic performance with trot stars.

On "Golden Friday" airing tonight (17th) at 10 PM, a special time will be arranged to reinterpret classic songs that showcase Lim Chang-jung's distinctive sensibility and high-level vocal skills. First, Kim Yong-bin selects Kim Jong-chan's "Love Goes That Far," which is considered Lim Chang-jung's signature song, conveying deep emotions of parting and heightening the cast's immersion.

Following this, a competitive battle of pride unfolds between Jung Seo-ju and Yang Ji-eun. Jung Seo-ju, riding an upward trend, selects the national proposal song "Will You Marry Me?" and delivers a stage that overwhelms the venue. After the performance, the cast members praise without hesitation, saying "It felt like coming to a solo concert" and "We felt blessed," drawing attention to whether Jung Seo-ju will continue her winning streak.

In response, Yang Ji-eun takes the stage with "You Like Me," a hit song written by Lim Chang-jung himself. She reinterprets the representative men's favorite song with her own traditional Korean and ballad sensibility, offering a unique charm. Lim Chang-jung, who had previously stated he was a fan of Yang Ji-eun, speaks in past tense after watching the performance, saying "I really liked it," raising questions about the background.

TV CHOSUN's "Golden Friday," where Lim Chang-jung's classic songs and fierce competition among trot masters unfold, airs tonight (17th) at 10 PM.
