Singer and actor Lee Jun-young will begin his mandatory military service by enlisting as an active-duty soldier in the Army on the 21st.
The enlistment will be conducted privately without any official ceremony. Lee Jun-young, who debuted as Jun, a member of the group U-KISS in 2014, began his acting career in earnest through the 2017 drama 'Revenge of the Villains in Buam-dong.' He subsequently strengthened his position by appearing in diverse works including 'Mr. Temporary Employee,' 'D.P.,' 'Mask Girl,' 'Weak Hero Class 2,' 'Totally Fooled,' and the film 'The Wilderness.'
This year, he received positive reviews for playing dual roles in JTBC's 'New Employee Kang Hoe-jang,' and has completed filming for the new tvN drama 'Four Hands,' so he will continue to meet with viewers after his enlistment.
Lee Jun-young conveyed his greeting through his agency, saying "I will return safely and well. I look forward to seeing you in the winter of the year after next."
The tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands' starring Lee Jun-young will air for the first time on August 29th.
