The Busan International Comedy Festival opens with a magnificent lineup.
The opening performance of the 14th Busan International Comedy Festival will be held at 7 p.m. on August 21st at the BEXCO Auditorium in Busan, with broadcaster Ji Seok-jin serving as the main MC to kick off the festival. Ji Seok-jin, who is in charge of Asia's largest comedy festival, will mark the beginning of the celebration alongside comedians from home and abroad.
The opening performance will feature the 'Malja Show & Gag Concert Gala Show' bringing together the main cast members of legendary Korean comedy programs, as well as performances by domestic drawing performance team Croquet Brothers and renowned overseas comedian Patrick Cotet Moine. The celebratory stage will feature band QWER, known for hits like 'Overthinking' and 'My Name is Clear,' adding energy with their refreshing band sound.
Prior to the opening performance, the blue carpet event will be attended by approximately 100 people including domestic and international star comedians, comedians from 10 countries, and popular YouTubers. Comedian Yang Sang-guk will host the blue carpet event, elevating the atmosphere at the venue.
The Busan International Comedy Festival is Asia's largest international comedy festival, with plans to discover new talent, nurture talent, establish a sustainable comedy platform, and emerge as a comedy hub representing Asia.
The 14th Busan International Comedy Festival will run for ten days throughout Busan from August 21st to August 30th, and tickets can be reserved through NOL Interpark.
