Actor Park Byung-eun reveals his distinctive presence through an impassioned rendition of anger.

JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "Apartment" (written by Kim Yun-young, directed by Cho Yong-won, produced by SLL and Red Nine Pictures) is maintaining its upward momentum, recording a peak viewership of 7.1% and ranking first among non-terrestrial networks and in the top tier of TV popularity.

In the previously aired 4th episode, Park Byung-eun, who plays Lee Chung-won, erupts in uncontrollable anger when artifacts are discovered at the Oman New City development site, halting construction, and Seo Gang-won, played by Baek Hyun-jin, loses the chairman election to Park Hae-gang, played by Ji-sung. He flashes a meaningful smile at Park Hae-gang, heightening the dramatic tension.

In the 5th episode airing on the 25th, Lee Chung-won, dressed in a black suit, takes a karaoke microphone and passionately sings Jo Yong-pil's "Leopard of Kilimanjaro." While singing in his own emotional state, he intermittently exudes an eerie intensity, dominating the atmosphere. He then personally visits the new city construction site where the artifacts were excavated, casting sharp eyes and reproaching the people in charge.

The artifact commotion that halted the Oman New City development project is actually a meticulously planned fake show orchestrated by Park Hae-gang to secure the chairmanship. Attention is focused on whether Lee Chung-won, who still doesn't know the truth, will uncover the full story and what counterattack he will launch against the thorn in his side, Park Hae-gang. On the filming set, Park Byung-eun also elicited admiration from staff members by singing from narration to climax inside a quiet chairman's office, articulating a restrained madness in detail.

The production team stated that in episode 5, the persistence and threatening true nature of Lee Chung-won, cornered to the brink, will become even more pronounced. They also noted that Park Byung-eun's distinctive aura and witty detailed acting completed the character's chilling anger three-dimensionally, and asked viewers to look forward to the ramifications of his head-to-head showdown with Park Hae-gang over 17.8 billion won.

JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "Apartment" episode 5 airs on Saturday, July 25th at 10:40 PM.
