He is a Korean Wave actor with tens of millions of followers on global SNS, including 14.5 million Weibo followers, and has built a strong fanbase across Asia including Japan and Vietnam.
In the Amazon Prime original series 'The Criminals,' which was released worldwide on July 17, Jung Il-woo plays the mysterious character Takikawa and has led the box office success by ranking first in viewership for three consecutive weeks since its release.
