The movie 'Odyssey' surpassed 150,000 advance ticket sales a week before its release, foreshadowing a box office sensation.

'Odyssey' (directed by Christopher Nolan, distributed by Universal Pictures) has swept the globe with over $639.6 million in global box office revenue (approximately 935.2 billion won in Korean currency), and as of the 29th, advance ticket sales exceeded 150,000. This surpassed the previous record for advance ticket sales of director Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' during the same period (139,000 tickets), demonstrating the explosive anticipation of domestic audiences.

Critical acclaim continues to pour in as well. Domestic media outlets have given high praise for the thrilling cinematic experience, overwhelming scale, and highly polished direction. Internationally, the film has also been validated for both artistic quality and mass appeal, recording a 97% Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter score and an A CinemaScore grade.

News of the cast and crew's visit to Korea has also been announced. On August 3rd, director Christopher Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, and actors Matt Damon and Charlize Theron will visit Korea to attend official events and meet with fans in person.
