The Spark Fighters are breaking a sweat under fierce pursuit from Hwimun High School.

As Episode 12 of Studio C1's baseball entertainment show 'Spark Baseball 2' airs on August 3rd at 8 PM, the Spark Fighters find themselves hampered by the curse of the 5th inning.

In the previous broadcast, the Fighters unleashed a fierce assault on the Hwimun High mound, starting with Lee Tack-geun's solo home run in the bottom of the 2nd inning and creating big innings in the 3rd and 4th innings back-to-back. Starting pitcher Yoo Hee-gwan held on with just 1 run allowed through the top of the 4th inning, and relief pitcher Lee Dae-eun took control of the game, securing an 8:1 lead.

However, in the following game, an emergency situation erupts as Hwimun High School launches a counterattack. Pitcher Lee Dae-eun on the mound showcased his main weapon but suddenly began to falter, and Hwimun High batters seized the opportunity to swing away. Building momentum, Hwimun High demonstrates the strength of a high school baseball powerhouse with relentless offensive rushes and unwavering determination, even launching spirited cheers.

As crises pile up, cracks begin to appear in the Fighters' defense. As Lee Tack-geun, Jung Geun-woo, and Choi Soo-hyeon converge on a fly ball in danger of being dropped, Manager Kim Sung-geun erupts in anger, compounding the chaos.

Meanwhile, Park Yong-taek, who had recorded a perfect on-base percentage in at-bats without support, suddenly requests enthusiastic cheers and steps up to the plate amid the crowd's roar. All eyes are on what result Park Yong-taek will produce as he swings for victory.

The fierce battle between the Spark Fighters and Hwimun High School can be watched on Studio C1's official YouTube channel on Monday, August 3rd at 8 PM.
