In 'Apartment,' Ji-sung visits Park Jin-young's hospital bedside and pours out his desperate feelings.
JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Apartment' (written by Kim Yun-young, directed by Cho Yong-won, produced by SLL and Red Nine Pictures) has proven its topicality by rising to 4th place on Netflix's domestic popular series list as the choices of characters standing on the brink begin in earnest.
In the previous 7th episode, Park Hae-gang (Ji-sung) was delivering a bag with 10 billion won on Lee Chung-won's (Park Byung-eun) orders when he learned from the police investigation division chief (Lee Hyun-kyun) that Park Yong-man (Jung Jin-young) has terminal pancreatic cancer. Shocked, Park Hae-gang created suspense by turning the car carrying the money bag around.
In episode 8, Park Hae-gang stares at Park Yong-man losing consciousness in a dark hospital room, falling into deep sighs. Park Hae-gang holds Park Yong-man's cold hand and desperately prays for him to hold on just a little longer.
Having ascended to the chairman position to save Park Yong-man, Park Hae-gang has even prepared a last resort as his subordinate when things go awry due to Lee Chung-won's schemes. Attention is focused on whether Park Hae-gang can safely rescue Park Yong-man and make a decision using the trial 10 billion won money bag.
On the filming set, Ji-sung delivered a meticulous performance to Jung Jin-young in which suppressed tears and firm determination intersected, drawing admiration.
The production team said that the sight of Park Hae-gang praying by Park Yong-man's side will add to the pathos, and asked viewers to anticipate Park Hae-gang standing on the brink's head-on breakthrough battle to secure 10 billion won from Lee Chung-won's grasp and turn the tables.
Meanwhile, JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Apartment' episode 8 will air on August 2nd at 10:30 p.m.
