Kim Dae-myung is showcasing the essence of villainous roles with a broad spectrum of acting.

'The Completion of Marriage' (directed by Kim Jung-hyun, Kim Min-tae / written by Jung Jae-ha / produced by Red Nine Pictures, KBS Media) is a crime thriller about a man who engages in extreme combat with a criminal to rescue his wife who was kidnapped just before their divorce. Kim Dae-myung plays Ro Man-hee, the criminal who kidnapped Koh Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol), the wife of Kang Tae-joo (played by Namkoong Min), creating a tense dynamic with Namkoong Min and driving the narrative forward.

In episodes 9 and 10, Ro Man-hee, listed as a prime suspect in a series of kidnapping and murder cases and on the run, gradually revealed his presence and pressured Kang Tae-joo. Previously, Kim Dae-myung received praise for his chilling portrayal of a character wearing the mask of an ordinary person. His acting spectrum, ranging from a likable smile to brutal madness, shone brightly.

His extraordinary acting skills were also evident in the opening of episode 10, which depicted Ro Man-hee's first murder in the past. In the past, Ro Man-hee was a man awkward in human relationships, unable to exchange even a single word of conversation with his colleagues. When Kim Kyung-ae (played by Lee Sang-hee) approached him without hesitation, and as Kim Kyung-ae fell into crisis, Ro Man-hee unleashed the madness he had been harboring without knowing it and committed his first murder.

Kim Dae-myung made a striking impression of the first murder with eyes gleaming with sudden madness and a smile that seemed to express pleasure even as blood splattered across his face. After committing the murder, it was Kim Kyung-ae who stopped Ro Man-hee from reporting himself to the police, and at this moment, Ro Man-hee had reverted to his passive self. Kim Dae-myung proved his character depth and concentration by switching between a timid person and a brutal criminal.

As the story heads toward its conclusion, the real reason Ro Man-hee kidnapped Kang Tae-joo's wife, Koh Se-yoon, is gradually being revealed. In the ending of episode 10, Ro Man-hee sought out Dr. Choi Chi-woong (played by Woo Ji-hyun), who is suspected to be involved in the case, and threatened him, gripping viewers' suspense. The broadcast featuring Kim Dae-myung's intense performance airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m.
