<Why Do We Climb Mountains Anyway?> has released its main poster and main teaser.
<Why Do We Climb Mountains Anyway? (hereinafter '대등왜')>, which will premiere on August 18th, is a "self-initiated mountain climbing" variety show featuring four involuntary hikers who have never been interested in climbing throughout their lives as they embark on their first winter snowy mountain expedition. The journey of these reluctant mountaineers searching for answers beneath the pristine white winter mountain scenery is expected to deliver enjoyable laughter and genuine moments.
In the released main poster, Cardigan, the eldest of the "Hasanakwe," takes the lead with his confident appearance, while Dowoon, Lee Chae-min, and Tarzan each show their determination, which is intriguing. The snowy mountain landscape surrounding the four is a preview of the unpredictable journey to unfold, stimulating curiosity about the chaotic climbing adventure of the '대등왜' quartet.

The released main teaser begins with members solemnly chanting the "mountaineer's oath" and climbing the mountain. While they express amazement at nature and appear to overcome hardship, the reality faced by these members on their first snowy mountain climb is far from easy. From the early stages, declarations of withdrawal pour in, and the new mountaineers who dislike heights battle the snowy mountains in their own ways, bringing laughter.
What blossomed in this hardship for them is a deep and strong comradeship. The members' relationship becomes closer through the difficult mountain journey, adding warmth, and the thrilling taste of descent that comes after the ordeal and the Hasanakwe quartet building memories at the foot of the mountain promise delightful chemistry.
Producer Park Hyun-yong said, "The most attractive aspect is the unguarded chemistry of the members placed on a rough journey regardless of their will," and added, "You will be able to see the natural harmony created as they rely on each other in a challenging situation." He continued, "We approached the subject of mountain climbing more seriously than any documentary. You will be able to enjoy the beauty of capturing the harshness and beauty of the mountains as they truly are."
<Why Do We Climb Mountains Anyway?> can be seen on the 18th.
