Global audio brand Bang & Olufsen has appointed legendary American artist John Legend as its global brand ambassador and has signed a two-year partnership agreement.
John Legend is an EGOT winner who has achieved all four major awards—Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony—and is a musician with tremendous influence in the global music scene. This collaboration was formed under a shared belief that "music is more than just sound," and was created to promote the brand's sound philosophy that has carried forward craftsmanship and precision audio technology. Going forward, the two partners will develop their collaboration based on a deep understanding of how sound connects people across cultures and generations.
Known as a longtime user of the brand, John Legend expressed his thoughts, saying, "Bang & Olufsen is an audio brand I have always been fascinated by. I am delighted to share a passion for creativity, quality, and emotional connection with a brand that creates products that are beautiful to listen to as well as beautiful to have and live with in a space." Nicolai Wendelboe, interim CEO of Bang & Olufsen, also stated, "Through our partnership with John Legend, who demonstrates a balance between restraint and honest emotional expression, we will showcase a powerful experience where sound and emotion come together."
Over the next two years, Bang & Olufsen and John Legend plan to carry out diverse global collaborative activities that combine carefully curated performances, cultural experiences, and storytelling, with specific plans to be revealed sequentially.
