The production team of ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Dreams of You" (directed by Yoo Seon-dong, written by Jung Eun-bi, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Content Planner) released an interview and photoshoot from the August issue of W Korea on the 23rd, capturing the chemistry between Hwang In-yeop and Lee Hye-ri. In the released photoshoot, the two attract attention with a lyrical and wistful atmosphere that evokes nostalgia for first love, raising expectations for "Dreams of You," a story about reunion after 15 years.
Hwang In-yeop plays Woo Su-bin, a genius film director who returned to Korea for Joo I-jae. Hwang In-yeop explained that of the two people who looked at the same place, one achieved their dream while the other lived on forgetting their dream, and the desire to return the dream to the person who made them dream drives the entire narrative.
Lee Hye-ri took on the role of Joo I-jae, who lives forgetting her dreams blocked by the walls of reality, but runs forward again after receiving a proposal to make a film together. Lee Hye-ri conveyed that she felt the character represents many people who could not achieve their dreams, describing her as a wonderful person who understands the responsibility of making a living.
The two displayed perfect chemistry through mutual praise. Hwang In-yeop highly appreciated Lee Hye-ri for maintaining consistent emotional lines throughout repetitive filming. Lee Hye-ri also conveyed her admiration for Hwang In-yeop's talent in naturally delivering his lines as if they were his own words.
